Shaping ideas into structured strategies: developing digital communication recommendations that bring a project or product to life.

My Approach

What is this competency?

Design is the step where ideas take shape. In BUT MMI, this competency consists of developing relevant strategies and digital communication recommendations to showcase a project or product. It involves structuring from A to Z — from strategy to planning to pitching.

Project 1: "Binko" Launch (SAÉ 1.02)

I worked as part of a team on designing a launch strategy for an innovative product called "Binko". Our goal was not just to imagine the communication, but to structure it from start to finish, including a full oral pitch to convince our audience.

My Missions on This Project

  • Strategy
Developing a complete digital communication recommendation for the product launch.
  • Organisation
Creating a detailed communication planning schedule to pace the campaign.
  • Pitch
Oral presentation of our concept, backed by a reasoned document to convince the audience.

What I Learned

This exercise helped me develop my ability to structure ideas as a group and confidently defend a project verbally. It reinforced my understanding of how communication goes beyond content — it requires organisation, timing, and persuasion.

Project 2: JAW Productions Design Dossier

To go further, I designed the full brand universe of my own production company, JAW Productions. The goal was not just to draw a logo, but to build a strategic, coherent response to a communication problem — combining a brand vision, narrative writing, a professional approach and a visual identity.

What I Learned

This project taught me that designing is not about a single visual: it means starting from a problem, defining objectives and audiences, imagining a concept and structuring a complete communication system — from the message to the identity.

The Building Blocks of the Concept

  • Brand Universe
Defining the tone, vision and audience of JAW Productions as a creative film studio.
  • Narrative Design
Writing the short film "Humain" — its intentions (solitude, the social invisible, creation as a way out) and its tone.
  • Professional Approach
Registering the fiction project "La DREAM" with the CNC's "First Submission" scheme as author-director.
  • Visual Identity
Designing the JAW logo — a skull with an open jaw and the red "JAW" signature — and its possible declensions.

The Full Dossier

All of these building blocks are gathered in a complete design dossier, presenting the JAW Productions brand from its vision to its visual identity.
